LL.M. Certificates

(updated on 2021/2/18)

The Keio LL.M. program offers the opportunity for students to earn a certificate demonstrating specialization in Business Law, International Dispute Resolution, Japanese Law, Law and Development in Asia, or Intellectual Property Law.

■Details of Certificates:
Research Paper:
All certificates will require successful completion of a two-credit (or greater) Research Paper course in the relevant area.

Core classes:
Some certificates may require the successful completion of certain courses unless the student has already studied the same subject matter elsewhere.

Because the course requirements set forth a minimum level of effort and the certificates are intended to evidence a significant degree of focus and specialization, a student may not apply for or receive more than a single certificate.
