Katsuhiro SHOJI is Professor of European Union Law with the Jean Monnet Chair ad personam at Keio University Law School and the Director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence. He received Master of Laws and finished the doctor course at Keio University. He was a Visiting Scholar at University of Cambridge from October 2006 to March 2007 and at European University Institute from February to March 2001. He has been a member of the Board of the European Union Studies Association (EUSA)-Japan since 1995 and was President of EUSA-Japan from November 2006 to March 2009. In addition, he worked as a member of the Wise Person's Committee on Japan-EU Relations from April 2009 to March 2010.
