Standard Form Transaction Agreements


On the afternoons of September 13 and 14, Keio University Law School will host a conference
to consider aspects of the law governing standard form transaction agreements - typically
agreements used repeatedly in large numbers of transactions between a business and a consumer.
The conference features presentation and discussion of academic papers by four scholars from
the University of Chicago Law School, known for its focus on economic analysis of legal issues,
and four renowned Japanese civil and commercial law scholars. Details are below.
